Let's talk about email marketing.

 

Since the beginning of internet marketing, building your email list has been the number one growth strategy. Anyone who is anyone told you that you have to get as many people on your list as possible. However, the only problem is that email open rates are a rapid decline. People are less and less interested in hearing from you or anyone via email.

 

I'm not saying by any means saying you should stop using email marketing or stop growing your list. You should still be using email as a touchpoint; however, I want to make sure you have an insurance policy on how you are approaching your market.

It takes 1000 hours to master something. 

 

Mastering a skill or trade does not happen overnight. It takes time and hours of practice. However, it's important to remember not to force something you aren't passionate or good at doing. You have to know how you are wired. If you are an introvert, then you will probably never love public speaking. 

 

In today's episode, we are talking CEO, Top Podcast Host, and Serial Entrepreneur Mike Dillard. Mike is breaking down how he started from the bottom and worked his way to the top. As being someone who was not good at sales and an introvert, he found other avenues to make money and close sales. 

 

Mike shares how important it is to align yourself with success, and that includes learning how you are wired, aligning with that and building your business through that. If you want it bad enough to get up and do it at 5 AM...you want it bad enough. 

 

Have you ever had that one goal or dream that you tell yourself every day you are going to do but then time and time again never gets completed? So many times in life we say we want something, but our actions don't correlate with them. We say we are going to wake up at 5 AM to do it but if we don't get up, how bad do we REALLY want it?

 

In today's episode, I'm talking about setting and releasing the goals you make in your life and business. It's super important because if you want something bad enough, you will wake up at 5 AM and do it. You will start that activity or project before anything else begins in your day. However, sometimes we don't want it as bad as we think we do and that's ok. 

 

 It's ok to let go of a goal or a dream you had. OWN IT! Be ok with it. This week I'm challenging you to pick one thing, just one thing, you want to accomplish by the end of the year. In Beth's new book 'Image It Forward' she shares how her mission in life is to help convey and teach people what comes next and how to deal and embrace change. Beth explained that she struggled with change. 

 

The world today moves at a faster and faster pace than ever before. We are so consumed with collecting data and trying to find a logical reason to why things change. The truth is we don't want to accept it. Beth goes on to say that we delay making changes because we are scared of what comes next.

When you take a chance and you believe in yourself, the best outcomes happen. There is no perfect path. You have to commit before you have success. Six months until 2020. 

 

That is how close we are to next year. CRAZY! Those big dreams and goals you had back in January are just starting to happen. You see the results of all your hard work this year. Now is the time we need to start thinking about the next year, 2020. If you want to see results going into the new year, you have to start working on them now!

Millions of followers on Instagram does not equal money in the bank. 

 

I come across so many business owners that are intimidated when they see other people in their space with millions of followers and they only have maybe two thousand. The truth is that most of those people aren’t making money from those followers. 

 

I know business owners who only have a couple of thousand followers and making multiple six figures online. They are doing the work, showing up, and getting results. 

 

In today's episode, I'm going to be breaking down the three things you need to be doing online to get yourself in the game and earning the attention of your target market. 

 

It’s more than just bringing millions of people to your page but understanding what is going to make them stay there: the stickiness factor. Every few months I scroll through my social media accounts and think ‘Would I follow this account if I saw it for the first time?’

 

You need to be so aware of what other people are needing and creating content from that. So this week I challenge you to do an audit of your social media. See how consistent you are: what are you posting and are you presenting your brand at the level of people you want to attract?

What do I mean by that? I’m not talking about your personal win but shifting your focus on your prospect’s win. It’s gotten far too hard and complicated for businesses to grow online. Businesses are shutting down left and right because prospects are confused.

To have a seven-figure business you don’t need to be working 40 hours a week.

 

I want to take you back to year TWO of my coaching business. I was still working my corporate job and my coaching business was still a side hustle, and I was in a coaching group to help me learn the growth strategies I needed.

 

My mindset initially was that because I was working fewer hours, I was automatically going to have less success than everyone else in my group.

 

Every week when we would get on our coaching call, I noticed I was having more success than the CEOs who were full time.

 

Turns out, success has nothing to do with the number of hours you work. What matters is HOW you use those hours.

 

We all want to enjoy the entrepreneur lifestyle but most of us spend so much time doing things in our business that aren’t profit-producing activities. As the CEO in your business, you need to only be spending time on the things that HAVE to get done by you. Everything else can be delegated to someone on your team.

 

In today’s episode, I am breaking down the only three areas you need to be spending your time so you can truly live a freedom-based life as a CEO.

Having the right money mindset takes more than just strategy.

My clients are my inspiration. So every now and again I like to take a minute to brag about their growth and accomplishments!

 

In this episode, I am sitting down with Certified Sports Nutritionist, Reiki Master and Founder of Inner Strength University, Denise Povernick. Not only is Denise one of my amazing Unstoppable Entrepreneurs but she is also my Mindset Coach.

 

This year Denise has soared to new heights and achieved one of her biggest milestones...retiring her partner. She set her goal at July of 2019 and accomplished it by March.

 

Denise said that one of the biggest reasons she actually accomplished her goal (with time to spare) is because she wasn’t afraid to fail. In this episode, Denise walks us through how to overcome fear and how sitting in comfortableness is how you grow as a business owner and as a person.

 

Don’t be afraid to miss when accomplishing your goals. You aren’t failing, you are simply achieving something else and taking the step you need to take at this moment in time. Most people spend too much time on where they want to be that they don’t take the time to define where they are now.

When we let outside opinions or fear get to us, we have two choices: push our dreams down, or push forward.

 

Doing something that isn't in alignment with our HIGHEST potential is never going to bring total fulfillment. Happiness is progress.
